The Government of India through its Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises works hard towards providing a business friendly environment for all the new and upcoming businesses in India. In order to do this various schemes and policies are formulated from time to time and implemented through a common network connected to businesses through Udyog Aadhaar / MSME / Udyam Registration.

MSME Samadhan – Delayed Payment Redressal Platform

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 grants protection to MSMEs who are facing a problem of delayed payment from their customers. With the appropriate documented proofs MSMEs can now avail support of the Government to get pending payments from their customers. MSME Samadhaan portal was launched for assistance in resolving delayed payment issues for MSMEs in India. An MSME can register itself on the MSME Samadhan portal using their Udyam Registration / Udyog Aadhar details and avail the benefits granted under this scheme.

MSME Sambandh – Procurement Platform for MSMEs

The MSME Sambandh platform was launched to help MSMEs by providing them a portal to apply for government tenders. This portal specifically facilitates Central Ministries, Departments and CPSEs to procure from MSMEs in order to support the new and upcoming MSMEs through a transparent process. The portal also aims at making the process of procurement by Central agencies transparent and provide an equal opportunity to all MSMEs who wish to provide goods or services as required by them. An MSME can register itself on the MSME Sambandh portal using their Udyam Registration / Udyog Aadhar details and avail the benefits granted under this scheme.

TReDs – Trade Financing through Discounted Invoicing

The TReDs mechanism was introduced by the Ministry of MSME in order to facilitate trade between Corporate buyers, MSME suppliers and Institutional Financers. It is a seamless and transparent process which enables the MSMEs not only to avail Corporate orders but also the required finance to be able to fulfill those orders. An MSME can register itself on the TReDs portal using their Udyam Registration / Udyog Aadhar details and avail the benefits granted under this scheme.

MSME Sampark – Government Job & Training Portal

In order to make human resource available to MSMEs the Ministry has launched the MSME Sampark portal. This portal not only provides a Job seeker a platform to apply for a job, but also a portal for MSMEs to find human resource. In addition the platform also facilitates training programs for new job aspirants through on the job and classroom training in partnership with the MSME Technology Centres. MSME Sampark aims to bridge the gap between skill development and the right employment opportunity for the youth of India. An MSME can register itself on the MSME Sampark portal using their Udyam Registration / Udyog Aadhar details and avail the benefits granted under this scheme.

MSME Mart – B2B Portal for MSMEs

The Ministry of MSME has introduced the MSME Global Portal to facilitate trade between the MSMEs and support B2B trade throughout India. MSMEs can register on this portal and provide information regarding their products and services which are then viewed by other MSMEs as per their requirements. An MSME can register itself on the MSME Mart portal using their Udyam Registration or Udyog Aadhar details and avail the benefits granted under this scheme.

Credit Guarantee Scheme for MSMEs

The Ministry of MSME, Government of India and Small Industries Development Bank of India have established a trust named Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises to provide business financing under the Credit Guarantee Fund Scheme. This scheme facilitates collateral free loans upto a limit of Rs. 50 lakh for Micro and Small Enterprises.

An MSME can register itself on the MSME portal using their Udyam Registration or Udyog Aadhar details and avail the benefits granted under this scheme.

CLCS for Technology Upgradation

MSMEs who wish to upgrade their current facilities by introducing new state of the art equipment and machineries can avail the benefits provided under the Credit Linked Capital Subsidy scheme. This scheme provides loans upto Rs. 1 crore and also aims at providing a Capital Subsidy of 15% for SSI Units including those in the cottage industries of India.

An MSME can register itself on the MSME portal using their Udyam Registration or Udyog Aadhar details and avail the benefits granted under this scheme.

Raw Material Assistance Scheme

MSMEs can now focus on manufacturing quality products and not worry about the hassles of problems faced while procuring raw materials. Any MSME who faces problems while procuring raw materials is provided central government assistance in resolving their problems related to raw material procurement. MSMEs registered under the Udyam Registration or Udyog Aadhar can avail the benefits under this scheme.

Intellectual Property Rights facilitation Scheme

The Ministry in its plans to promote MSMEs towards innovation has introduced a scheme which provides subsidies on the registration fees required for registering Trademarks, Copyright or Patents. Various other benefits have also been introduced through the MSME portal. MSMEs registered under the Udyam Registration or Udyog Aadhar can avail the benefits under this scheme through the MSME portal.

Lean Manufacturing Competitiveness Scheme

The Ministry through this scheme aims at reducing the ‘Waste’ generated in manufacturing. MSMEs are given financial assistance to implement lean manufacturing techniques. Lean manufacturing facilitates increased productivity, best in class quality and reduced waste for manufacturing activities. Awareness programs and workshops are organized to educate the manufacturing class of MSMEs with the salient benefits of adopting Lean Manufacturing techniques. MSMEs registered under the Udyam Registration or Udyog Aadhar can avail the benefits under this scheme.
